St. Peter Community Childcare Center
We provide high quality care for young children beginning at age 6 weeks all the way through enrollment into kindergarten.
We're a lot more than just a childcare center - we provide comprehensive programs to promote learning and growth in your child's life while simultaneously giving them a safe and nurturing environment to have fun.
We now have two locations: we have recently opened a new site behind the Arbor View apartments on Jefferson Avenue and are also in our main location at the Community Center. The new site, referred to as the Gustavus site, houses our Infant and Younger Toddler rooms. The Community Center site houses our Older Toddler, and Preschool rooms. We are very excited about the opportunity to expand and provide care for even more area children.
We strive to attain the following goals for each and every child enrolled at SPCCC:

1. Offer a curriculum which encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. |
4. Help each child learn to develop self-discipline and independence and to deal with his/her emotions in an appropriate manner. 5. Provide a well-balanced schedule of activity and quiet times. 6. Provide nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks that contribute to the growth and development of a happy, healthy individual. |
Our Older Toddler and Preschool rooms are conveniently located in the St. Peter Community Center at 600 South 5th Street (on the lower level, next to Creative Play Place.) Our Infant and Younger Toddler Rooms are located at our Gustavus site at 1616 Jefferson Lane (behind the Arbor View Apartments).
We're open Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
We participate in the USDA Food Program. This means that Breakfast, Lunch and a Snack are provided every day!
SPCCC is licensed to serve 12 infants, 14 younger toddlers. 14 older toddlers, 20 younger preschoolers, and 10 older preschoolers.
